JOHN HILLMAN
PARTNER
John oversees the full project lifecycle, managing development from entitlements and design through preconstruction, construction oversight, financing support, and operational start-up.
Prior to co-founding FIDES Development, John worked for JLL’s Project and Development Services group in Atlanta. He was responsible for development projects from concept to close-out. Prior to JLL, Mr. Hillman worked at Kimley-Horn, a premier planning, and design engineering consulting firm, where he worked on a variety of ground-up and redevelopment projects throughout South Florida. John’s past experience includes Chairman of the City of Deerfield Beach’s Planning & Zoning Board.
Mr. Hillman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Emory University. He is heavily involved and active in many civic and community organizations and is a graduate of Urban Land Institute’s Center for Leadership. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in both the state of Florida and in the state of Georgia.
